Dana + Troy … wedding at Fireseed Catering on Whidbey Island

Have I mentioned yet how much I love backyard weddings? Ok, I know I have, but they’re just the dearest celebrations.  Troy and Dana held their wedding at the tucked away Fireseed Catering on Whidbey Island.  It was a relaxed, creative, delightful wedding with about 50 of their closest family and friends.  Dana definitely was born with the crafty bug and spent hours and days, months even working on all of the little details.  She cross stitched about  20 little frames representing them displayed throughout the property which was the sweetest added touch.  Their ceremony was so unique and didn’t leave a dry eye in the field.  Dana’s best friend and attendant recited from the book “I Like You“, which is one of my favorites and it fit them perfectly.  For their recessional song, everyone, including D+T, used their kazoo’s at their seats to sing ” I Want to Hold Your Hand” by the Beatles.   Every part of the day was chosen and done because it was truest to who they were and that is what makes a wedding so special, creating a day that best represents the extraordinary love between two people.  I’ll let the photos say the rest…
