After a year of friendship they took it to the next level and have been beaming their pearly whites ever since.  They really do have perfect teeth and smiles, right?  I’ve come to the conclusion that love makes people endlessly beautiful.  It takes the beauty we already have a just radiates from inside giving off a glow and energy that is darn attractive.  Josh and Jayme have “it”. Whatever that is, and it’s not something that can be totally explained but you know it when you see it, and it’s obvious.  Take a few extra seconds to really notice the way they look at each other…that’s the “it”.  Josh can be found diligently writing the latest story on the Seattle Sounders, but knows when to take the time to make Jaymie laugh with his clever wit, silly dances, and jokes, showing his love.   Jaymie is amazingly supportive and her sarcasm and “craziness” to quote Josh, is the complement that works so well.

Will you just look at the way he is gazing at her here.  Ahhh, I melt.

BAM! Then she gives this look!  Jaymie is stunning.

Photographing in the desert has quickly become one of my favorite backdrops and I love how Amy incorporated bright colors into the dry terrain.

]]> http://julieharmsenphotography.com/blog/2012/05/04/atwf-14/feed/ 0 Mana Road … Big Island of Hawaii http://julieharmsenphotography.com/blog/2012/05/03/mana-road-big-island-of-hawaii/ http://julieharmsenphotography.com/blog/2012/05/03/mana-road-big-island-of-hawaii/#comments Thu, 03 May 2012 19:18:00 +0000 julie http://julieharmsenphotography.com/blog/?p=5020 I’ve been meaning to share these photos with you for months now and today’s rainy Seattle weather seemed more appropriate than ever.  My last trip to Hawaii was wildly inspiring and I checked off a place on my “to visit” list that I’d heard stories about as it it was some far off magical land.  Mana Road was all that and more.  The landscape roams further than you can see and belts the Mauna Kea volcano, hence the changing weather patterns along the 3 or 4 hour drive. Beginning in farming land with horses and cows, rolling green hills full of yellow flowers, then slowly turning into an eerie plain with dead trees and ominous clouds…and still more cows.  I’ve got to say though that photos don’t really do it justice.  It’s the entire experience of being there-the smell, breeze, sound that really gives it it’s luster.
